The best tahini bites you'll ever taste!

Tahini Bites coated in chocolate and walnuts

The best tahini bites you've ever tasted! Well I say that because I've never put chocolate or walnuts on my tahini bites, this time I did and I had to stop myself eating the lot! Here's a tasty snack to grab from the freezer when you want a snack with your herbal tea or early morning coffee.

Ingredients:

280g light tahini
2 tbsp chickory root syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

1 (35g) bar Dr Coy's vanilla crips chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
8 walnut halves

Let's make them!

Whizz up the ingredients (not the toppings) in a mini food processor until smooth.

Spoon into a parchment lined 2lb loaf tin. Spread out in the tin, touching the sides using the back of a spoon.

Smooth the surface with the back of a spoon.
Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours.

Melt the chocolate with the 1 tsp coconut oil
Remove the tahini slab from the freezer and cut into bite-sized pieces

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the tahini slab and allow to harden in the freezer.

Optional topping, but really nice!

Chop the walnuts and sprinkle over the chocolate when melted, then freeze.

Storage:

Keep the tahini bites in the freezer until ready to eat. They are eaten straight from the freezer.
