Homemade (No Dairy) Hot Chocolate
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
250ml coconut milk*
1 tbsp almond butter (though hazelnut is my fav)
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp maple syrup
Whizz the coconut milk, almond butter and cacao powder in a mini food processor, just to ensure the mixture is smooth. Pour into a saucepan & heat up until warm, or to your desired temperature. Add in a teaspoon of maple syrup, stir through. Pour into your mug, then sip & enjoy.
Afternoon cuppa sorted!
*the coconut milk is from a carton, not the creamier tinned kind used in curries. The one I used here is the version used in beverages. I used Rude Health brand of coconut milk.
