Chocolate and almond squares

the easiest chocolate and almond snack you'll ever makeWow your friends with one of the most impressive snacks which will have them thinking you spent ages in your kitchen to make this easily created recipe.

Ingredients:

200g dark chocolate (78% Butlers chocolate)
1 tsp coconut oil (Dr Coys brand)
100g almond butter (Meridien brand)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (Nuzest brand)
1 tsp chickory root syrup (Homespun liquid sweetner)

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl how ever you do it, whether over a bon-marie, microwave..., then leave to cool a little before using,

Add the nut butter and use an electric hand whisker to combine the ingredients until smooth. Next add the protein powder and whisk again til smooth. Add the syrup and repeat the whisking.

Spoon into a parchment-lined (2lb) loaf tin. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes until hardened. Cut into fingers or squares as you see in the video. Store in the fridge until ready to use.

Remember you can use any brands beyond those I've listed above. There just might be some changes in texture as a result.

If you do change the ingredients I'd love to see your results and remember to enjoy and have fun in your kitchen.
