Shattered routines

It’s doing the inner work to keep calm & relaxed to meet your day❤️ in a positive way.

I kept saying all through this pandemic up to over a week ago that I’m amazed at how calm & in control I was. It wasn't true. my nervous system was on high alert.

When I looked back I was only sleeping 5-6 hours each night. On top of that I was waking most nights shaking to the bone in terror, during the day I was so calm!

My routines were haphazard and being cocooned is suffocating.

There is nothing wrong with healthy habits going awry, just take a deep breath and plan how you get back in control and have them back in great working order, despite the restrictions at present.

In life we know if it’s not this some other crap will sit in its place. It’s doing the inner work to keep calm & relaxed to meet your day❤️ in a positive way.

I started back picking one thing (I chose meditation) to do on a regular basis plus using a technique I have for accepting the situation and setting goals.

You can’t do it all at once, consistency is key. I still have a few more of my healthy habits to add, like my 8-10km daily walks, 💪🏻🏃‍♀️ made possible since last night🎉👏👏

Ensure you check in with yourself daily. Observe what is going on in your life and what you need to do for you now. That could be take a break from sitting at your desk, go out into the garden and walk in the grass, listen to the birds singing. Or it could simply be to 'eat the frog'. The latter is about tackling the job on your To Do list that you are avoiding most but the sooner you get it done you'll be happier.
